Here we go again ,Welcome to My Country!Welcome to my country! Land of milk and honey, oil and mineral resources, but filled with people who are suffering and smiling because they can’t speak out, and if they do, they get shut out. In my country Nigeria, your rights can be wrong, and you complain, you get arrested. We get beaten and expected not to cry. Animals are more regarded than citizens, and the value of human life is diminishing by the day. Even visas are been made for Animals and not humans ,I wonder if Animals(cow) are our leaders because they pay more attention to the live of this Animals (citizens) more than that of humans. So this makes me wonder if I should as a citizen to the right where there’s nothing left or to the left where there’s nothing right?☺️☺️
A Life of Fear and Uncertainty
Inflation is on the higher side, and the cost of living is killing the living. People are struggling to make ends meet, and the fear of what’s next is always looming. What If I don’t have a job tomorrow? Will I be able to feed my family? Will I be safe on the streets? These are the questions that plague our minds every day.
Our system is designed to fail its citizens. Those in power seem more interested in lining their own pockets than in serving the people who elected them. The politicians, the businessmen, the elites – they all seem to be working together to keep the common man down. They promise us change, but it’s just a game of deception. They use our hopes and dreams against us, and we end up with nothing but false promises and broken dreams.
Nigerians are a group people silenced by fear, intimidated by those in power, and marginalized by our own system. are meant to shut up and accept our fate, but we will not be silenced. We will not be oppressed. We will rise up and demand our rights. We stand for our right and we get arrested and sometimes convicted for it. Herdsmen has taken over our farmland and in bid to self defense We get arrested and sentences. We will demand justice, equality, and freedom.
To my fellow Nigerian citizens, we urge you to stand up and demand your rights. Demand justice, demand equality, and demand freedom. We owe it to ourselves, we owe it to our children, and we owe it to our nation. Let us rise up and take back our country. Let us show those in power that we will no longer be silenced, we will no longer be oppressed.
To those in power, I say this: listen to the voices of your people. Listen to our cries, our pain, and our struggles. We are not just statistics, not just numbers on a page. We are human beings, deserving of dignity, of respect, and of a chance to live a decent life. I beg of you, do not turn a blind eye to our suffering. Do not ignore our pleas for help. We are your citizens, and it is your duty to protect and serve us.
